Flow Analysis and Solution Proposition

Initial Flow:
Main Page: Users start from the main page.
Single Booking Page: For individual bookings.
Multiple Booking Page: Added complexity by moving from a 3-page to a 4-page app.
Check Your Bookings: Users can review their bookings.
Report a COVID Risk: Functionality to report COVID risks.
COVID Risk Page: Dedicated page for COVID-related information.
My Bookings Page: Overview of user bookings.
Issues Identified:
Redundant clicks and extended user journeys due to the addition of new features such as the delegation page.
Increased effort and user friction to navigate to specific features, requiring at least two clicks.
Future expansion of the application necessitates a redesign to make it more user-centered.
Proposed Solution:
Transition to a Dashboard: Replaced the welcome page with a dashboard.
Consolidate Information: Added delegation info and editing options to the dashboard.
Reduce Redundancies: Eliminated unnecessary clicks and streamlined navigation.
Future Features: Prepared the system for future enhancements connected to user needs.
Target Flow:
Dashboard: Central hub for user bookings, delegation information, and future features.
Single Booking Page and Multiple Booking Page: Maintained these pages but integrated them into the dashboard for easier access.
Report a COVID Risk and COVID Risk Page: Continued to provide these functionalities but with improved access through the dashboard.
This redesign aims to simplify the user experience, making the booking system more efficient and user-friendly.
